How do you link to facebook coupons?

submitted on September 8, 2010 by sandyshore in "Member's Lounge"
I understand if no one wants to share. I know that there are ways to link to most coupons, the one I haven't figured out yet is the coupons on facebook. How do you link to the facebook coupons so that people don't have to "like" someone to obtain the coupon?

Since it's usually from one of the coupon sites like bricks or smartsource, it can't be used as the deal URL, but can be added in the comments. The person who is posting will have to have a Facebook account and be able to click on 'like' to reach the coupon, but then they can copy the URL from that page and paste it into a comment. Someone without a Facebook account wouldn't be able to get to the coupon otherwise.

Thank you, very much! The one I was looking at was a page print and I wasn't sure if it would translate by just C&P the URL to comments. I'll have to find out another time.

I guess if I could look at what you saw, I might be able to help to help you more. But let me try to see if I understand. If it was a .jpg or just a portion of a page and you couldn't see the complete URL, you can still get that information by right-clicking on the page or image and looking at the "properties." The complete URL would be there and you can still copy and paste it. Test that in a new window, and if it shows what you expect, then you can use it.

You've been a big help and really have answered my questions. Even though I didn't clearly explain what I was trying to find out, you covered what I needed to know. Thanks again!

Ask Houtex, he seems to know all. I know I'm impressed!
