how do you judge "low activity" on buxr?

submitted on January 4, 2015 by mdshopper1 in "Buxr Website / Contests"
just curious......what is considered "low activity on the website?" is it low voting, low number of deal posted, low number of active participants, or a combination of two or three?
LOL or is it none of our business? Wink

Less number of deals posted, less number of clicks on the deals.......................

I also think, it's based on number of deals posted and number of participants

It is mostly deal submissions and votes. Since you cannot control other metrics I usually do not include clicks or page views into consideration. That said, Buxr, as any other business, has to be sustainable, and so if I see we are having a really slow day sales wise I will declare it "low activity" regardless of the deal submissions. This usually happens on weekends.

thanks yan for the definitive answer. i know that some days it is easy to see that there are not a lot of deals posted and not a lot of deal votes made.

You would think people would be more active on the weekends since there is more time to surf web sales than during the week.

I tend to do most of my online shopping (thru Buxr) during the week on lunch breaks and such. Most of my weekends are reserved for in-store shopping and/or time with the family.

Oh, I always thought it was: <40 submissions automatically = "Low Activity Day."

Low activity on weekends doesn't make sense to me either. I guess most of us shop at work! Wink

Most stores start sales on Wednesday so I usually shop first day of sale otherwise everything is picked over.
