How do I make the tags stick in discussion area?

submitted on May 29, 2009 by overaged in "Buxr Website / Contests"
I noticed that for certain submissions depending on the category you use to submit something in discussions it tells you to put at least 5 tags but I type in 5 differnet things and can't make them stick. I click add and try to type in the other blank part and nothing...

Alright, you probably use IE, right?

It is broken right now. Will try to fix tonight

    Firefox works fine though

I love Firefox. Pages and features always load, links and media always work, hardly ever crashes in comparison, faster load times overall, and its uber-customizable. Smile

You really should switch over and abandon Internet Explorer.

This should work on both IE and Firefox now. Didn't test any other browsers

I tried the same option. Well you have to type in the tag > it will give you a list of possible tags ( if you type "go" golf should show up) ...then you choose golf/ the one from the list ...and then click on ADD and it will stick. Unless you choose from the list of available options, they will not stick. Was unable to add mine. Yesterday I posted a Sports Authority discussion thread...was forced to add non-relevant stuff ( but they were all sports)

You can only add from a set of existing tags. This is done so to avoid swamping by related tags that have same meaning by spelled differently (e.g. Book and Books) or simply typos

Tags are not required in 'Buxr' and 'Member Lounge' parts of the discussion area

Please don't add tags that don't apply

i haven't tried since you said it didn't work for IE.

I have IE 8 and a lot of things aren't compatible for it.
