How did you find Buxr?

submitted on October 12, 2008 by MikeG in "Buxr Website / Contests"
We were wondering how people found our little site here, and thought it might be a good topic for discussion.

So how did you find us: Google, another site, through a friend, accidentally typed buxr in your browser? We would love to know.

Through a local radio station. One of the DJs posted it on her webpage (July).

No actually, if properly used the term "b******" can refer to a child/person whom was born out of wedlock, or ill conceived. Although largely considered a derogatory term by todays society, it does in fact have a perfectly valid use. However, even if derogatory, it does not make the term a swear word. I used it previously for humor purposes, as did JackBauer, but neither of us used it in an directly insulting manner.

PS: Sleven was referencing an entirely different word other than "b******" when speaking of dogs (female dogs specifically), a word which neither of us chose to employ. I think both you and Sleven are confusing the two and their separate meanings.
PPS: Boy is this ever getting way off topic of "How did you find Buxr?"

This should help to settle the language and usage concerns:
Both terms have a fully legitimate usage, and a slang usage.

Apologies to those who would rather not see the secondary word at all.

I dont exactly remember how, and yet I only signed up yesterday. But what I can say is that it wasn't easy. I was on a post from Lifehacker, which led me to a money saving blog, then I followed maybe 3 links from there and somehow found the site. Maybe if someone could encourage Lifehacker or Techcrunch to write a nice review on the site it might get some more hits.

Honestly I do not remember exactly how I found it... But I do remember why I did. I was looking for deals to post onto my little blog. Got several good deals from here for a few days then decided to be a member. I think I won some money like my 1st or 2nd day and it hooked me.

Soon the shift of looking for and posting on my blog became looking for and posting here. Until I'm to the point where I only update the blog once every two weeks or so but am here almost daily. Eeek

Google search looking for a printable coupon. You were not the first one listed. Had to go through quite a few sites before I could find a printable coupon and not just a code to use on line. I love that there are so many printables on this site. I must say though, now that I am a BUXR user, I see your site listed more often when I search for deals.
