How can we eliminate Paypal (3% + $0.30) fee when request money from Buxr.com?

submitted on September 30, 2011 by dealhunter11 in "Buxr Website / Contests"
Hi,
Each time when i request money from buxr.com, paypal charging me 3% + $0.30 . I spoke with Paypal Customer representative regarding this issue , they told Buxr.com are paying from their CC and that can't do anything about fee.
For Ex: when i request $25 from buxr.com finally i am getting only $23.97

I just want to know,How can we eliminate Paypal fee when request money from Buxr.com?

I don't have an answer to your question, however just for a record, we are not paying from a credit card. Buxr's Paypal account is tied to our Business Checking as the primary source of funds, so whoever you spoke to at Paypal clearly has no clue.

Yan, you might look into ACH or into Payoneer debit MasterCard. Either of them may charge less fees. Nonetheless, they may be more of a hassle for you or you may not have sufficient dollars or volume to warrant them.

Those options can also have associated fees, if you think about it, any service would have to charge either the sender or the recipient. ACH rates may vary based on the volume (small volume = higher rate).

      from Payoneer site -
Depending on the paying organization or your payment program, you may be obligated to pay certain service, maintenance or transaction fees.

I have no problem receiving my buxr funds via Paypal. I actually have a PayPal Debit card and I get 1.5% back if I run it as a credit card. Banks will be soon be charging more for transactions. I feel more secure with buxr paying me with PayPal than sending me a check. This is just my opinion on the subject.

Paypal is a great way to get paid! As a suggestion, you can deduct the fee from your tax return against the 1099 you will receive from Buxr but as a professional, I cannot give tax advice unknowingly.

It would be cool if we could choose either paypal or direct deposit but hey...I'm just tickled it works as well as it does. Payment with Buxr using paypal is usually quick, secure.
