I'm surprised no one posted this on Buxr, it is **hot** !!!
I didn't see this coupon last week, but found it last night. There is an offer that Target sent out to their Mobile Coupon Subscribers on 9/26, expiring 10/4
. It says Buy One Get One Free Accessory Item
(Jewelry, Watches, or Sunglasses) up to a value of $58.99. The unusual thing is that apparently when the code is scanned at the register it takes off the higher priced item! There are many reports that people have been able to buy $49.99 watches and something on clearance like $2.38 earrings and pay only $2.38 plus tax. A few shoppers reported that they found the watch section in their Target store empty, and others found the manager was rude and switched the credit manually to the lower priced item.
But Target has confirmed on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/photo.....119&type=1
that they are honoring the coupon as it scans at the register, still giving credit for the higher priced item!
Here's what to do to get the offer:
If you are not yet signed up for Target Mobile offers, you can still get this offer! You’ll need to text OFFERS to 827438
(standard text messaging fees will apply) and click on the link that will be immediately texted back to you. Fill out the required information, follow the directions, and you'll receive another text with a unique link for this and several other Target Mobile coupons, all valid through October 4th. It will take about 5 minutes for this text with the code to arrive. Hurry to your nearest Target and show the code on your mobile device to the checker.
What do you think? Did Target make a mistake? Does the offer seem too good to be true, and would you try it anyway?
