The Easter bunny is a mystery and stems from a pagan tradition. The rabbit is known for energetic breeding and eggs represent new life. Hundreds of years ago eggs many churches abstained from eating eggs during Lent and then being allowed to consume again on Easter Sunday. Many people today still follow this tradition through Lent and as always there's a story to be told by a family elder.
Easter is a day of remembrance, whether you celebrate this day as an old family tradition or start a new tradition, its nice to continue on from years ago from generation to generation.
