A new member, elefanteau, asked how to add an avatar to their Buxr profile. Since we have a lot of new members (and some old ones who still don't have an avatar), I thought I'd post the question and answer over here for anyone who would like to give their profile some personality.
You may notice that some members even change their avatars every once in a while, perhaps they represent the moods or interests of their alter ego!
The answer to that question is a part of the BUXR FAQ at
http://www.buxr.com/faq :
Go to http://en.gravatar.com/ and sign up with the email you are using on Buxr. Once you upload and activate an avatar there it will be automatically visible on Buxr.
Gravatar is a service for providing globally-unique avatars. Users can register an account based on their email address, and upload an avatar to be associated with that account.

However, I often wondered why some members have no avatar. Maybe they will vote and enlighten us.
