Get Facebook Coupons and Still Protect Your Privacy

submitted on June 17, 2010 by HouTex in "Member's Lounge"
Would you like to take advantage of Facebook offers for a coupon, sample or freebie, but don't want to share all your personal information? You can sign up and then remove a company application from accessing your profile.

1. Click 'Account' at the top right of your Facebook profile page.

2. Choose 'Application Settings' from the drop down menu.

3.Click on the "x" link on the far right next to any company application to remove them from accessing your profile.

You might want to allow them to access your profile for a day or so and then remove them, to make sure they have time to process your request. You can also un-"like" them.
1. I already have a Facebook account.
2. I think getting Facebook offers are worthwhile.
3. I would consider joining Facebook if I could protect my privacy.
