FREE to the First 1000! Permalink

Free to the first 1000 or 500 or whatever is not a deal. It is a weak promotional gimmick given the speed with which things travel on the internets. Consider this your warning. I'm voting down all "deals" like this from now on. Anybody with me?

    I join in. Eforcity is guilty of this game. They often give away a product for a ridiculously low price to the first 500 or so. It usually sells off very quickly and disappointment is all that's left when you come to check it out

    I agree with you, Eforcity does normally do that and I think that they should be voted down.

    With regards to freebies I'm on board with this idea of voting down, although at least for now I'm not going to apply it to purchasable items.

      Only those freebies with a limited number. "While supplies last" is fine. "Limited number" is fine. But free to the first 500 is going down. Wink
