I just found out that many libraries offer access to Morningstar.com and other paid research sources (like genealogy banks) free for their members.
I use Morningstar.com once a year when choosing the funds for my annual IRA contribution. The premium access has a lot more information including Analyst Research of the funds in their database and advanced search / filtering tools.
The membership is normally $19.95 per month or $179 per year but you may be able to get it free through your library if they offer it (mine does). You can access from your home computer and to get through just need to enter your library card (at least this is how it works with my library).
Did you use Morningstar.com before? Does your library offer free premium access?
