Good news for all of you who list items for sale on ebay auctions.

Starting tomorrow through Feb. 8th you can list your wares free of charge (no listing fee) - You just pay a FVF (Final Value Fee) if your item sells.

I just sent 3 boxes of new tagged clothes to a friend who does Ebay 'cause I didn't have time. With all the time & work here, very unsuccessfully I might add, I shouldv'e jumped on this but unfortunately, physically can't to work either. Oh well, maybe after March. What's a FVF?

Final value fee. I took it for granted that everyone knew that abbreviation.

They did this before and I jumped in thinking I am getting the bargain. This however only works on bare-bones listings. As soon as you add extra features (like displaying more than one photo) the fees start to go up.

The bottom line, if you want to list many inexpensive items then it would make a difference, but if you sell one/two high priced items then the savings are really negligible

Any freebie from ebay is a good thing since they nickel and dime you for everything!

As the saying goes, any savings is better than no savings....
