Free Healthy Choice Entrees at Krogers Stores

Bummer, no Krogers here.

I don't have a krogers either but it's a good deal for those that do.

Can I share my favorite Kroger's story?
My wife and 15 years or so ago I traveled to Western Ohio for a horse show. We finally arrived in the town and were confused by directions, so stopped in a little convenience store to ask for directions. Explained to the young woman we had just driven in from Massachusetts for the horse show and we confused about the directions. She directed us up the street and to.... are you ready for this??... "turn left where the old Kroger's used to be." OK. just drove in ... Massachusetts... lost in Urbana Ohio... I don't even know what a Kroger's is, never mind where one is, particularly one that is not there any more.

Yea stories! My most interesting Kroger story would be 1st learning about unions...

I was lets say in the 8-11 yr old range and the Teamsters went on strike so Kroger was opened still with scabs and selling what they could at ridiculously low prices. So the one family member who was willing to cross the picket line and myself (I have no idea why really...) set of to go buy some cheap stuff for like 3 families.

It was a little disturbing on the way in but not much was said that I remember. However on the way out with 3 overflowing carts the picketers were not so passive. Lets say that me being as young as I was had no bearing on their choice of words. And as we were loading up the car a few rocks skipped harmlessly past us.

Its actually a little funny as I would later have my 2nd job ever as a bag boy at Kroger and of course... be part of the Teamsters shortly. Later in life even being in a 2nd union the CWA.

I've just went to Ralphs and it worked for me, I got the $5 off ecoupon and I used the $5 off printed coupon, maybe this works at all the Kroger family stores like Ralphs, food 4 less,etc.
Healthy choice dinners are $2.29 and $2.99 at Ralphs this week.
