I have no idea why I would be issued a negative rating for mentioning that I was seeing different rules for the CPK referral deal. If more detail had been included in original posting, it would have been helpful. In fact, there was sufficient confusion about the offer for Plum District to post a clarification at its own website:
We’ve had some questions from users regarding referrals for this Plum Reward. Plum Reward referrals are separate from other Plum District referral bonuses (like Plum Dollars). To refer friends for this Reward, you must use the email form or links that you’re presented after you click “Get It” on the deal page. Don’t use the “Refer a Friend and Get $10″ link in the top page navigation to refer friends to get your gift card –those count as separate referrals.
For what it's worth - they are either terribly disorganized or they got overwhelmed with the referrals - my 2 people finally got their emails more than 24 hours later, and after the deal had ended.
