Duplicate coupons & sales over 30 days old

submitted on December 24, 2008 by YanBz in "Buxr Website / Contests"
Here is a small clarification (or some will consider it a change) to the 'duplicate' rule.

If a coupon has expiration date set during submission then we will not accept repeat submissions even after 30 days. The reason for this is that these coupons add no value to the shoppers/visitors since the original coupon is still available and accessible from the "store" page (or when filtering by merchant name).

The coupons and sales (and deals as well) that don't have expiration date set are dropping off our main list after 30 days (since we can't be sure they still work) and hence we allow resubmission if you can verify their validity.

Does it make sense? Please let us know in the comments

I can accept that logic with the reasoning you have provided. So the rule works for me. Although the new rule strikes me as a bit ex post facto for my issue today that helped spurn this topic.
