Do you take frugality too far?

submitted on March 3, 2011 by webbyone2010 in "Member's Lounge"
There's being frugal, and then there's the extreme frugality that often masks hoarding. The Consumerist website poses this question: are you frugal to the point of harming your life?

I don't think I take frugality too far, but I definitely fall under #5 of the 17 signs that I've take frugality too far. I save everything because I think I may have a use for it down the road. You should see how many old magazines are on book shelves in my office. Smile

Personally I'm not wild about self-serve food places, because I think customer service says alot about the place of business which will make you spend more.
