Hot or Not?

Do You Snooze or Jump Out of Bed

submitted on April 21, 2010 by pablos17 in "Member's Lounge"
I don't know about the rest of you, but I have to snooze at least a few times in the morning. I just love being all warm and cuddled up under the covers.

According to a sleep study, snoozing probably does more harm than good.

Well, you sure don't get any decent sleep when the alarm goes off every 9 minutes (well, ours does, anyway) - but we still keep hitting the snooze button!

My cat is just as lazy as I am and sleeps right next to me. She's not much help. I miss my old blue point; he would help wake me in the morning.

Interesting article. My alarm rings 3 times every 5 minutes and it is pretty high on the shelf so if I get up I never go back to sleep.

I always suspected something like this is true, I hate any noise while I sleep and if I wake up during night I am usually tired in the morning.

''Even a subtle noise that doesn't actually wake you up is disruptive enough to affect the sleep quality,'' Dr. Stepanski said. ''That's why someone who falls asleep with the TV on may wake up exhausted. So, if a person is rousing themselves enough to reset a clock, there's likely to be an even more profound effect.''
