More on the whole Christmas in summer stunt from USA Today:

The tour begins at Los Angeles' Union Station on Memorial Day weekend, then zigzags eastward through Oct. 30, where it ends at New York's Grand Central. Stops include big cities (such as Seattle, Chicago and New Orleans) and smaller ones (Whitefish, Mont.; Fargo, N.D; and Albany, N.Y.), each lasting a few days. Here's what visitors will find inside the four cars:

And here is more about the movie from Wikipedia:

I will be in Chicago downtown this coming weekend, will try to catch a glimpse of the show

What about the 'entry forms'? Do I need to sing up to get there?

Visit the Train Tour location above on the dates listed. Entry forms will be available at the designated "enter to win" location indicated by Hometown Movie Surfers Sweepstakes signage.

Nevermind, this is probably for sweepstakes

you guys are all gonna be in Chicago this weekend?

    Me too!

I won't have time to go see this, sadly.

Steve, you live in Chicago, right? Yan, you won't be there for a blogging convention, will you?

      What blogging convention?

No, I am taking my family out to have some fun time together over the weekend. We were planning to book a hotel for one night so we could enjoy Chicago night life. Will be working Priceline tomorrow to find some deals.

I am not a big fan of conventions. Maybe because I've never been to one? Smile

I've only been to a couple nursing ones, this one is BlogHer, a great big blogging convention for (mostly) ladies.

That's what's taking us to Chicago this weekend, since there's some 2000+ people headed to the city for that, I thought I would ask! Smile

We hardly left Michigan Ave. We heard the fireworks, but didn't see them.

I have to say that I LOVED Chicago. Can't wait to go back.

I really hope someone goes to this before the end on Oct. because I would love to take my boys to this if it will keep them entertained. Charleston is about a 3 hour drive from us so I would love some reviews from anyone who attends.

Not enough allowance for a full Chiago review, but:

    Pros:
    3D preview
    Adults may appreciate it more
Inside train was not jam packed with people

    Cons:
    Wait in line vs. Presentation
Kids may get bored (figure their age and attention span)
