Turning the clock back brings more daylight during the hours we need it the most as the sun rises and sets. Children will be able to leave for school in daylight and return home safely in daylight. As we turn our clocks back on November 6th, offically at 2AM the days are shorter and only 45 more days until the first day of Winter, December 21st. Depending on the latitude and longitude, sunrise and sunset times will vary depending on your location. Arizona and Hawaii are the only two states that do not observe DST.
