What customization do you refer to? Please be more specific.

    sort by....
    expired....
    threshold....
    area....

is there any way to keep these permanently set to my preferences instead of having to set them every time i come onto the site?

when you do a search by store.....what deals that come up depend on how your settings are set. for example, i have mine set to show as sort by activity, show expired, threshold show all, area all deals. i like to set these preferences so i dont duplicate another deal or so that i can easily see a deal that can be labeled "alive again".

LOL i hope i explained that well, but maybe others dont use this feature of the website?

I stay logged in so my settings only need reset on occasion. Every so often Buxr will log me out and ask for me to sign in and then I will have to change the settings to customize my view. Most times though it is still set if I just don't log out, there is an occasional time when it changes even being logged in and I can't figure out why that may happen.

I was wondering if you use your Google account or Buxr account to log in? I think the settings are only saved with a Buxr account.

As long as you don't clear browser cookies your deal page customizations should be preserved. They are not tied with your Buxr (or Google) account.

That said, if you go to a different computer, or even open a different browser on the same computer, the customizations will be lost, even if you login as yourself.

It's possible to add a site to the exception list for cookies. You can choose to always "allow" cookies from Buxr.com -

      - Firefox - from the Tools menu, choose Options, Privacy tab, go to History and click Exceptions (to the right of "Accept cookies").

      - Chrome - go to Settings, Show Advanced Settings, Privacy, Content Settings, Manage Exceptions.
