Thanks for posting this! You know I have posted many good quality coupons for dog food and cat food since I joined Buxr. I used to be a Demo-person for Nutro. This was before they were taken over by Mars. I still believe in the quality of Nutro but have since introduced my animals to other foods. I use Newman s Own canned food for my cats. I mix it in with Avoderm dry food. I also use Wellness canned food but they had a voluntary recall and Petsmart hasn't restocked any new product yet. When they do I will get them back on that. My Golden Retriever is on Nutro Ulra which has three proteins in it, Salmon, Chicken & Lamb. I like it becasue she is not getting the same protein everyday. I also give her Berkley & Jensen's Holistic Dog Food which is very good. It combines chicken, brown rice and vegetables in a kibble that she loves. It is $19.99 for a 16 pound bag.
I mix it with Nutro Ultra and also Natural Ultramix which has dried bananas, blueberries and other things in it. I don't recommend Science Diet and other foods that preserve their food with animal fat. They buy the animal fat from restaurants that deep fry in animal fat. When it is of no use anymore they sell it to pet food companies and they in turn spray it on the kibble. That is why dogs like the cheaper foods. If you have any questions please feel free to ask me. I am knowledgeable on this subject. Thanks Jack69darin for your post! Sorry this is so long!

Thanks for posting this as well. My vet suggests that I buy the best quality food I can for my dog. He doesn't mean that I should buy the most expensive.

We use Berkley and Jensen Holistic Chicken and Brown Rice Recipe as well. It meat first and meal second, has no corn wheat or soy and is all natural... and the best part is it's $19.99! When I was researching the food I found some forums talking about the food. They were skeptical of the quality becaues of the price. They got back info from the company that they hold their meats to the same standard as human grade meats!

They have another coupon starting this week I think. It's a $3 off one that was in one of the books.
