Cheapest Wireless phone Prepaid option out there? Need to port out a number

submitted on September 9, 2011 by orangearrows in "Stores / Merchants"
What are the cheapest prepaid options out there?

I checked up T-mobile and ATT but did not find any deals with bonus airtime.

I need to port out my numbers for a couple of days before porting them back to SPRINT.

Google Voice charges $20 per number. I have 2 lines = $40 Anthing cheaper than that.

Also can I use this >>>http://prepaid-phones.t-mobile.....vation-Kit on a OLD T-mobile phone and port out my number? This would probably work out the cheapest at $6.99. What say?

The tmobile sim kit would work. You should be able to port out and port in within a day. Just call and confirm on phone. Make sure you note down names of all customer service representatives you speak to. Good luck.

I'm very happy with Net10. Switched from Virgin about 6 mos. ago and the porting was done same day. I am on a $15/mo plan on autopay & minutes rollover. Minutes don't disappear quickly either (e.g. only .25 of a min. is taken if that's all you use.
