From what i understand, you don't need to actually buy any of the text books, you just need to add them to your cart to get the Prime promo.

To get the deal:
1. Click Here to start; http://www.amazon.com/gp/prime.....books.html
2. Add any Eligible Textbooks to to your cart
3. Proceed to checkout and choose "FREE Two-Day Shipping with a Free Trial of Amazon Prime" option;
4. Activate Amazon Prime without placing the order.

(You can Go to "Your Account" -- "Manage My Prime Membership" and disable the auto renew option)

That is an excellent trick, I may do that on my wives account, as mine is still under its 1 month trial, or I could wait till it expires, I dunno yet.
