Bonded Leather Sofa - Request for Purchase Advice Permalink

submitted 162 days ago by josetring in "Products / Gadgets"
Planning on buying a leather sofa but it's made of durablend material at Ashleys furniture.
Is that good material? Any tips on bonded leather?

All feedback is greatly appreciated.

Avoid bonded, avoid bi-cast. If you don't care about the leather cracking then It's cool, but for long term use it's not worth it. Fabric is more durable. Some vendors like Ashley say they have upgraded the leather to withstand cracking but it's all the same. The moment they come in direct contact of sunlight or heat they are vulnerable to cracking since they glue holding them together begins to wear off.
