blu ray player suggestions

I'm looking for a built in wifi blu ray player. Need to have a usb port...and be able to support hulu and netflix(which I think all wifi ones do). Any suggestions or experiences in one of these? Trying to keep price around 100 bucks.

I really do not need the blu ray part, but I figure I may as well upgrade from my 15 DVD player that i've had for 8 years. I'm really getting it to replace the p.o.s. roku that I just sent back.

If my wife would let me get a new TV I would. I have 0 blu ray discs and do not plan on buying any. But I use hulu on a daily basis...and play movies I have on USBs.

Did you take a look at the ones posted on Buxr? These 2 are $75.

We have a Sony, they are usually about $99-$149 (I'll have to look for one to post)
It has been wonderful, wifi streaming works well although we had to increase the speed of our Internet service.

I've also noticed that some are only wifi ready instead of built in wifi...does that mean I need a wireless usb adapter too?

Yes, if you buy a player that is "wifi-ready" you will have to buy the wireless adapter too.
So it's best to pick one of the models with built-in wifi. They have all dropped in price a lot.

You also might want to consider extended warranty, I saw that 3 years from SquareTrade will only add $14.95. http://www.squaretrade.com/pages/

Have you checked in to Roku? Hulu Plus will be available soon on wii if you have a wii.

I had a roku, but after 6 months of tech support, I had sent it back for a refund. I had the option of returning it, or politely smashing it against the wall. Worked great when I could get it to work. Froze a lot, and would restart in the middle of programs once in a while too.

These were going for $150-$160 during thanksgiving

If you can wait a little longer - they are coming with a new version soon ( released during CES 2012). When that comes out the first unit is going to drop in price .
