Mattresses
Vacuum cleaners

June
Gym memberships

When I first saw the title "Best Product Deals by the Month" I thought this thread was going to be about having another monthly contest where someone wins "Best Product Deal of the Month" with a bigger prize, LOL!

Thanks for the list, Tammy987. Smile

It would be interesting to see explanations behind these categories. Some are obvious (e.g. patio furniture and anything outdoors related in August) while others are not (used cars in December? Eeek )

According to research, December is when to get the best price because dealers are trying to clear their inventory (same for new cars). If you want best selection of used cars, then April is best time to buy after dealers have filled their lots from auctions. I didn't put explanations for everything because of space, but if you have any questions about the reasons behind some of these, just post and I'll check every day. Big Grin

Now I recall that my friend lately got a very good deal on a car by shopping in December on a snowy week day.

I had always been told to buy a newer car around December and January. It would make sense as the dealers are trying to get rid of last years models to make way for the new years designs. So, maybe buying a used car is understandable in that respect. If people are trading in their older car for a newer car at the end of the year, it would make sense that the lots would be full of cars that are "used" and they want them to go quickly.

Great list. Think I'm gonna have to take advantage of the fact that this is lawn mower buying month. The last time I used my mower I had to restart it every three minutes.

Anyone know of a good CORDLESS electric mower that is worth buying?
