During the November and December time period, due to overwhelming demand of products offerings on BestBuy.com, still now the BestBuy has not shipped few of their Black Friday Orders and most of the buyers got cancellation mails asking an Apology
We might had seen these kind of mails from many of the stores but not during the Holiday time which really screws people right before Christmas
It's sad to think that just because orders are being canceled that people think Christmas is ruined. It's unfortunate that those people will not receive the gifts that they wished to give but is that really a reason to say Christmas is ruined? Christmas should be about family and being near the ones you love, not about material items.
I do think, however, Best Buy should do something more for the customers that have been impacted than just to cancel the orders. Good customer service skills could help turn the bad publicity into something better.
I agree with that too. When stores cancel orders unexpectedly I think they should do something to make up for it even if it's something small like free shipping next time or something. I just don't understand how these people say Christmas is ruined. That's just sad.
I've heard other stores/online sites having the same problems. Snapfish.com delayed orders for over 2 weeks for processing (even for just prints), but I think they've actually caught up to orders again.
I ordered something and they did not ship it but they gave me an equivalent gift card and did not charge me for the product. Some people are getting upto $200 in gift cards which is unlike BB
