Also, have a request. There was a funny video posted recently on Buxr about a typical day of a Facebook addict which I am trying to find. It showed a guy sitting in his office dealing with a lot of distractions... like friends updates, etc. Did anyone save the link?
Here is why I don't like this. Here is your info Sean! Too much info! They get the info from Facebook and it is not accurate. You can go to privacy on Spokeo and copy your link and request to have it removed.
But Clover the Facebook page does not show your name or picture if you like the fan page. Only how many likes the page has. But I never heard of spokeo.com, and I just checked myself. Wow scary! It even has a picture of your house!
Yep! I was on there four times before I got rid of them. Three of the addresses were for my ex-husbands girlfriends after we divorced. You can delete the info. Just do as I stated above and go to privacy on the bottom of the page and put in your url and hit remove. You have to provide an email address and then go to the address and finish the process. I'll check out Facebook!
Back to the previous concerns on this post about about identity, The page now does not show anyones name or picture. Just shows how many likes are on the page, so you have nothing to worry about now.
Thanks Cover! Everything on there was accurate about, but not sure if they get the info from Facebook, because my Facebook does not have my address, birthday or phone number on it. But I deleted that from spokeo
Geez...how many times do we like a site because we want coupons or deals????? Anonymous? If you choose to be, then you wouldn't be on Facebook to begin with. http://www.facebook.com/debsfreebies
I also use bogus info on a facebook page, I value my privacy - even if facebook doesn't. Just because I like coupons doesn't mean I have to give out real personal info to get coupons.
