Baby Wipes Recalled For Possible Bacterial Contamination

Although the bacteria poses little risk to healthy people, those with weakened immune systems or chronic lung diseases like cystic fibrosis may be more susceptible to infections.

Nutek Disposables, Inc. is recalling baby wipes under the brand names Cuties,, Femtex, Fred's, Kidgets, Member's Mark, Simply Right, Sunny Smiles, Tender Touch, and Well Beginnings.

According to a news release from the Food and Drug Administration, the wipes might contain bacteria. These wipes were distributed by Nutek before October 21, 2014, to the following retail stores: Walgreens, Sam's Club, Family Dollar, Fred's, and
