When flying, sometimes you already know the best seat in the house... or on the plane... you know what I mean. Other times, you arrive at the airport, board the plane and discover that your tray table is in the armrest and you have limited legroom.
For the past couple of years, when I book flights on United or American, I always go to www.seatguru.com
before selecting my seats. It really comes in handy for international flights, because there have been times that I think I've got an awesome seat only to learn that it doesn't recline, etc.
Seatguru.com has 700+ seatmaps and seat advice for some of the biggest and smallest carriers. Using the seatmap key, find seats you may want to avoid, what seats are good, and tips like if there is a power port in your row, etc.
Just thought I'd share with my new friends. It's helped me a lot and hope it helps you on your travels too.
