    I cut back quite a while ago. We haven't hit $4 a gallon quite yet. Only drive to work and run errands, no long distance driving unless absolutely necessary. I even avoid malls because for me the malls are far enough away that shipping costs are reasonable. I live in an area where horse & buggy and bikes are very much a part of everyday life -- I'm just not willing to join a sect of any of the religions involved to take advantage Amused

    Since we live on a hill there is no chance of cutting back but can do all our shopping on our way home from work and driving for a day of fun is still better than flying. Big Grin

    I would seriously consider car pooling at $6 or more. Unfortunately we don't have public transportation where I live
