AT&T Named Worst Cell-Phone Service Provider

A new Consumer Reports survey released today pit all of the United States’ major carriers against each other for customer satisfaction, support and technical service (quality of network). To top the list was US Cellular who was listed as the nation’s best wireless carrier for cost and with a great voice network. They also ranked best in two customer support categories – issues resolved and self knowledge – but were unranked for phone, website, and e-mail, for some reason.

    Not at all a surprise. I know a lot of people who complaint about dropped calls with ATT.

    I used to work for US Cellular. Good to know that all the hard work in customer satisfaction has come to fruition. Big Grin

    ATT ... and their reps just don't care ......especially since the time they got the I*hone.

    I have AT&T and while they aren't all that great... I do like them better than Sprint (even though it's been over 6 years since I was a Sprint customer).

      I got Sprint now - am pleasantly surprised on how good their customer service. Their website works great and they have this chat option where I can chat with a CSR and not have to talk anymore. Gets the job done.

      And with 4G activated in DC area ....am cruzin.

      I had an issue with some dead-spots at my house - they resolved it fast by providing me a FREE hotspot router(AIRAVE) at home. Now it's FULL bars at home too.

      I been with ATT and T-Mobile before this. ATT sucked in every way ( CSRs and also with Phone service) - Tmobile Customer Service was great but Phone ( Call quality) was not so good. If you move to the outskirts T-Mobile ( away from any major highways) -it's gone.
