Analysts Predict Kinect Will Sell 3 Million Units This Holiday Season

Many analysts are claiming that the Kinect’s $149 price tag is “appropriate”, and that 3 million units could sell this holiday season. Microsoft’s Xbox 360 hands-free controller, Kinect will be released on November 4. Xbox 360 4GB model that will be bundled with the Kinect and sold for $299.

    I can't imagine who will buy this when the Wii is half the price and has much better games.

      I think the big attraction for Kinect is... no controller required. Plus it's new, better games will come.

    I think the last question should be made so that people can select multiples. I own all 3 of those systems and all the popular consoles and a few oddballs that have been released since the 80s.

    Looks really cool. May just have to get one of these. And no more drooling on the controller by the little guy.

    I'm semi interested, but not fully and at their price point I'm not at all. If it was $49 I'd likely buy it just to have it. $99 I'd be interested but likely would only purchase if I found a sale. At $149 I'd rather get 3 new games...
