      The AT&T service, quality, and reliability have gotten so bad than I'm looking at switching to Comcast for lack of options. I will soon find out who the lesser of two evils truly is.

      We tried AT&T for the 30 day trial and kept Comcast connected and switched back after 30 days. AT&T may have 430 channels, most of which were the same channel three times, way too difficult to navigate even with favorite listing. Bonus was Comcast gave us the reduced rate AT&T offered for 12 months! Smile

    I hope this doesn't offend anyone......when I call customer service for some of these companies, I get someone that cannot speak English clear enough for me to understand.....I know that outsourcing is cheaper for these companies but please, give me someone I can understand!

      Yeah, I had exactly this story with Citibank last week. It took me about half an hour to get to a live person and even then it was someone I could barely understand.

      I have this problem all the time with Comcast. One time I kept having to ask a lady to repeat herself because I couldn't understand her so she started screaming at me like I was deaf. I couldn't understand her even more after that and she kept saying something and when I didn't answer she hung up.

      I get that it's cheaper but if you're making your customers angry then what's the point? I love how they give you some made up name too most of the time to sound more "american" and then if you have a problem, no one knows who you are talking about.

    5 companies on the "top" hated companies list are cable companies, 4 are airlines - not much of a surprise there given my personal experience with 5 of the 12.
