    Textbooks can be well over $900 a year. And a great new rip off I noticed last semester are "custom" books. Which take a standard text book and then remove chapters or add chapters and put a custom label on it. Selling for the same price or more of the original text. Yet it has NO resale value as is specific to only one school.
