Amazon Subscribe and Save Deals

submitted on April 7, 2011 by orangearrows in "Buxr Website / Contests"
Are we allowed to post these deals? Is it in the discussion forums or as a deal?

I understand Buxr did not want them earlier since it required a monthly subscription. But those can always be cancelled and that's how I do it. it saves the customers 15% straight up and many a times there are codes which stack up to make it sweeter.

The reason I ask since there are 2 deals which were HOT and should be shared somewhere on the website.

Also Subscribe and Save items have free shipping - no minimum.

Popchips 6-Flavor Variety Pack, 0.8 oz Bags (Pack of 24)

0.8-Ounce Single Serve Bags (Pack of 24) for $20.4 - 15% + free shipping with "Subscribe & Save" - 10% with code "APRILPOP" = $15.3

Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1-Liter Tins (Pack of 2) $14

Zoe Extra Virgin Olive Oil, 1-Liter Tins (Pack of 2) for $17.84 - 15% + free shipping with "Subscribe & Save" - 5% with code "ZOEOLIV5" = $14.27

No one questions that Amazon's Subscribe and Save is a great program. It is but it is not for everyone. I for one don't shop at Amazon that much and can't justify the subscription fee.

I suggest you post these deal but use the price you get w/o the Subscribe and Save. You can then mention extra savings (the price you get w/ the program) in the additional information/instructions

There is no Subscription fee YAN.
Anyone can shop - you can go ahead and shop the above items - get the 15% discount + the free shipping ( no $25 orders required) - go back to your account - click on "Manage Subscriptions" and cancel the subscription- And all this done within a minute. No questions asked.

Posting without the S&S is not a deal as per me. 15% is a big deal + the coupons which stack up are on S&S options.

Try it out. It;s the CostCo of the Internet

I can see both points. On one hand, there are some great deals with the subscriptions. On the other hand, many people won't want to be bothered with having to go in and cancel.

Maybe we should do it like a JCP card or Kohl's? We list those deals when you need a JCP/Kohl's card, which many of us do not. But, they are still great deals if you happen to have a store card.

I agree - better here than there. It's a training thing - people who shop S&S - know that they have to go in and cancel.

Good point, this is very similar to the deals requiring Kohl's or JCPenney card, except that those cards don't require membership.

How do we do this again? We post them here OR the deals section?
