They're ok, not the best. If you're talking about the best bang for your buck, then ok. If you're talking about quality, my favorite would be Samsung (definitely have to check the specs though; ie. contrast ratio, refresh rate, etc). I had a Samsung 5 Series last year, but upgraded to a Sony 52" XBR9 recently (got a great deal on it $1649 shipped w/ free home theater and blu-ray player).

I got a 32" from Walmart for around $500 last year. Should've waited a little longer.

This deal is very nice. I've got mine from costco 3 years ago, it costed me about $600 and "720p" Cry Cry

Mine is only 720p too, but some how I was able to get the resolution from my Home Theater PC to get up to 1080p -or at least that was the display says. Pretty darn good picture though.

I don't think its actually doing 1080p just displaying the source that is being given to it. I have a 50" Vizio which is only 1080i and when I connect my Xbox or Blu Ray via HDMI I can get it to say 1080p but its really not.

(However not an expert, just my thoughts)
