Orange – I’m going to say this right out, even though it will in all likelihood incur a great deal of flak in my direction.

Recently I was accused of attempting to under mine another person’s deal. Now whether that is true or not is not my topic here – only the issues of double standards is. If I am to be a target for such accusations I find only fair that you should be as well.

If one were to take a look at your comments history and postings, it would appear that you go out of your way to find anything to bring down another person’s deal, and I’m not the only who has noticed. Then frequently you turn around and present yourself as guilty of the same aspect that you attacked.

Here are four examples to illustrate:

    http://www.buxr.com/deal/2gb-u.....drive_3028

    http://www.buxr.com/deal/free-.....pping_3001

    http://www.buxr.com/deal/sandi.....ified_2999

    http://www.buxr.com/deal/johnn.....oupon_3035

I leave to others to decide whether my observation has any truth to it, but I won’t come back and continue posting to defend it, as I already believe I’m right.

I seek no replies to this post or any commentary by others, I’m just placing the information in your hands to make an informed decision.

    Orange – Bad Form.

I just want to add one thing Orange, I don't dislike you per-say, you just seem to contradict yourself too often, and you seem a little overly defensive about your posts, while nit-picking at other peoples posts.

Well I am not really sure what you mean by posting those 4 links . I am not contradictory , but just try and provide info about things the deals poster missed. Some obvious things like shipping info which would kill the deal . People do it to my deals too , trust me .

      No double standards here .

thought you did were not going to post any more replies , you can back and posted one more

never accused of undermining another deal , but just pointed out to you that , you should not be marking a deal down just because it's expired and I stand by my comment . People would agree on here , that when a deal is hot , it will and is going to run out fast . So if you are late to get to it , you will be see it as EXPIRED ......it's not fair to the deal . Just posted my comments on that .......nothing else .

Fine...since apparently you are incapable of reading yourself, or have chosen to simply ignore what was stated previously. (Is selective amnesia nice?)

Here it is verbatim - as taken out of the posting your referencing, my words exactly (This makes the forth time - Feel free to check).

      http://www.buxr.com/deal/targu.....mment_2062

(First)“…Normally I would not mark an expired deal negative, and instead simply remain neutral on it.”

(Second)"I'm fairly sure I mentioned earlier that I'm not normally in the habit of marking deals negative because they are out of stock - only remaining neutral. Like I said this situation was slightly different and had other aspects that were affecting it.”

(Third)"I state again for the record, aside from this singular instance and its associated issues, I do not vote down deals because they are out of stock - I prefer to stay neutral on those items as a general rule for myself. (I don't expect this of other voters..."

Now – Forth (In case you have difficulty counting as well?)

Obfuscation is not much different that outright lie.

I really don’t enjoy having to repeat myself so please don’t get your information wrong again.

PS: Tisk-Tisk there that reading problem again...

I stated that I would not come back to defend my observations, I never stated I would not come back for any other reason, which you happened to provide.

"I leave to others to decide whether my observation has any truth to it, but I won’t come back and continue posting to defend it" (Don't look to far for this excerpt as its about 5 comments or so up.)

Orange - If others do want to like me for my opinion or attitude I can accept that, but I won't have them dislike me based off a lie.

I don't dislike you Oberon. You are the only one that has pointed out the obvious. I even wrote admin about the situation early on because I could see what was going on. There have been several times I have considered just making another friendlier deal site my home where it's fun to find bargains and it doesn't seem so cutthroat. But I am too stubborn.

Thats funny, as the thought had crossed my mind as well. Oddly enough I spent two years designing web pages, but that was a while ago. I sadly no longer have the time for such things because between teaching and the wife I'm booked.

Don't be quick to blame admin though, yeah they could boot him if they wanted, but they have other factors they have to consider as well. At least for now I'm content placing blame on the individual in question. However, perhaps we now have better standing as to the situation, and they may choose to take some level of action.
