    My brother buys from a Chinese co on ebay (memory etc) and has received shipments from Hongkong. It may be real - best to order something small and see what happens before spending any real $$

    Interesting... these look just like one of the fake drives I bought on eBay last year. I was told I was being sold a 16GB drive, but it actually had a 2GB flash chip in it and it presented itself as a 16GB drive. When writing data to it, after crossing the 2GB mark, it only simulated writing the data but was actually just throwing it away. I confirmed this using dd, badblock, and a script in Linux; data could not be read back after 2GB. This is one big scam.

    Even eBay is more reliable. At least you can see the seller feedback and make a conclusion if it is worth the risk
