    I believe this merchant is selling it through Amazon as well. I guess the doll house market is similar to our current real estate market. They'll try anything to sell a house. Smile

      I heard from someone before that the 99¢ thing was implemented to force cashiers to open the till and give change rather than pocket the cash. Of course, pocketing cash would've only worked in the old days. Today, we have way too much technology for most people to get away with something like that. Some ex-associates I worked with over the holidays thought they could pocket some cash from the register, but they were caught.

    It is just a marketing scheme to make you think it is less. To round down. $9.99 seems less expensive then $10.00. That is why gas is priced $2.85 9/10th of a cent.
