Description

Norton AntiVirus 2009 is the fastest, lightest antivirus solution you can buy. Rapid pulse updates and the innovative new Norton Insight architecture dramatically improve performance while helping to ensure that you're protected from the latest threats. Norton AntiVirus stays out of your way while you work or play. It automatically suspends all non-critical tasks and alerts when you're enjoying games and movies. And while Web-based attacks may be the single fastest growing type of online threat, Symantec's patent-pending Browser Protection lets you surf the Internet with confidence.

Norton is garbage, plagues your system and has had shady practices.

One such example is their EULA hiding the recurring subscription.

Now, they're claiming free antivirus products are not enough.

A top Symantec executive has hit out at free antivirus software, including Microsoft’s Microsoft Security Essentials, warning consumers that it won’t be enough to keep them safe.

Agree with Tarun. He is a malware expert, and it is only for 1 user. Most of the norton deals are FREE AND have 3 users.

I will agree that most Norton offers are available for free after rebate(s), and those that are not typically come with three user licenses for marginally more cost.

Getting it for free for 3 users After Rebate is better than paying $11.94 for 1 user.
