Use Live cashback to get extra 10% off
    259.99 - 25.99 + 4.99(Shipping) = 238.98 + 20.00(tax) = 248.98

    Staples has the same monitor for 249.99 + 16.88(tax) = 266.87

Is this the same monitor that Staples is showing in the pricegrabber?

The only diff is that staples model # has a "b" at the end.

There is a single difference, and so the PriceGrabber results are not a clean match.

Tiger Direct Version: Brightness 500 cd/m2
      Stables Version: Brightness 300 cd/m2

However, at 2-3 feet viewing range this is negligible.
It should also be noted that Staples offers free shipping, and so total price difference is $15.

Even though Staples has the better deal, if you use Live cashback, this would be the best price.

Use Live cashback to get extra 10% off
      259.99 - 25.99 + 4.99(Shipping) = 238.98 + 20.00(tax) = 248.98

      Staples has the same monitor for 249.99 + 16.88(tax)+FS = 266.87

I won't assert that one deal is better over the other, and I certainly did not mean to imply that I had a preference either way. I only sought to point out the differences for clarification.
However, I will say this, I don't believe that whether a site charges tax or not should be a factor, as there are 50 states with 50 different tax rates. Also, technically even if the online retailer does not charge tax, in most states you are supposed to report it on your year-end taxes. In the end, if you follow the letter of the law, tax is not a relevant issue in determining deal value.
