OK, I'll give you the point about the camera being on the front and not the back.
I imagined it as sitting on a desk with clock towards the owner of the desk, and camera on back. So I assumed the camera was in the middle of the winder.
Now the ports are only hidden if you collapse the clock all way down. What good is a clock or camera pointed at the ceiling? Its intended to be standing upright on the base which makes the ports viable (but only from the side or behind).
Motion activation would add this toy some utility. Where did you find this info? Here is what they have on DX page:
I have seen one that looks identical to this with identical specs on Ebay and the seller claims it is a motion detection camera.
Can anyone confirm if this one is?
I don“t know if have motion Detection, but as you saw on another site and had. Because here in DX unfortunately they do not report all functions of the products.
The box in the picture says DVD520, so I did a search on google for it and it has pictures and all of the specs and it shows that one of the buttons activates the motion detection.
I received mine today...I am really surprised! The quality is much better than I thought it would be. It is very heavy. I haven't tried it out yet, but I will this weekend and let you all know how it does.
The picture doesn't do it justice! I thought it was going to be a plastic little clock, but it is very heavy for its size...it also appears to be metal. You can not tell that there is a camera lens in the thing. I will try it out tonight or tomorrow and report back on the quality of the camera.
