There are currently better deals on 4G SD cards. Here is one:

Gee thanks Captain Obvious. I did not notice it only being to slots over from my post. (Just Joking Around) Smile

I marked it positive even before you posted - I give credit when its clearly due.

I recently received an e-mail from a family member who knows even more abut computers than I do. (Not to say I know a lot.) Then considering the the value of the info, I thought I would share it with all of you, as we have seen a lot of SDHC cards come up the last few days.

"Be careful when buying new SDHC memory. This would be any SD that is over 2Gb.
I may not be compatible with your hardware.
SDHC cards are physically identical to the existing SD cards. The only visual clue id the little HD that is under the SD logo, and the fact that it is 4GB or greater (I have seen up to 32Gb offered).

We have been running things (mostly cameras and mp3 players) with SD cards for about four years. I have steadily increased card sizes as they got cheaper. I ran into some card reader/writer problems at 2.0Gb. Some of my older stuff would only access the first 1G. No Big Thing - Easy work around.
I just bought my first 4.0Gb SDHC card (up to 2.0Gb is still regular addressing). None of my readers (the newest is about three years old ) can manage the new card. It flat shuts down the remaining mp3 player. The three year old camera can't figure out what it has. Fortunately, both of the cameras that are less than 2 years old seem to have no trouble at all.

Don't buy any SD Cards over 2.0Gb unless you are sure your hardware can handle SDHC."

None of my mobile electronics is older than 1 year. This stuff gets better and cheaper every year and it is hard to resist the temptation to upgrade especially if you see a good deal. Thanks for the info though.
