The speakers sound great at low and high levels and you certainly can't knock the appearance. Definitely better with a Sub.
Cons: The grills (frames) are FRAGILE and not up to the quality of the rest of the speaker. The first pair I received were treated very badly by UPS and the grills were crushed on both speakers. NEWEGG quickly replaced the first pair and the second pair arrived in better, but not perfect condition (Grill damage again). I couldn't bear the pain of continually trying to replace them so I kept them considering the price - still disappointing.
