lexx, I didn't say it was a dup. I tried to submit Right at Home deals like this in the past but mine were rejected due to low value to community. They were placed in discussion. I provided an example...
My similar deal was rejected 'cause they said 7000 goes very quickly on internet so low value & to post as discussion topic. Not that I agree w/it. Mine was for Free V8 V-Fusion. 1,000 give-a-ways every Mon. till 9/30, for a total of 9,000!
"told to post", didnt give me a choice & rejected mine as low value. Plus you have to sign in or up to be a member of Right at Home & this has been offered for several days already. I got mine, I hope! Thought about submitting but I knew they'd say the same thing as tiny.
From what I can deduce on the Internet this offer became available on August 3rd, 2010.
I would argue this is a sufficient enough quantity and young enough to post as a formal deal, with no "value" judgment being granted in either direction on my part.
Its up to community members to vote based on their interpretation of its value in this case.
And 9,000 free bottles of V-8 wasn't enough quantity for my deal to post?? 1,000 free for the next 8 weeks?? I had to post mine as a d.t.?? Why couldn't the community decide on mine also? I sense some descrimination here.

Solstice, I agree with deby. You should either allow or forbid such deals. Make a final decision - and stop confusing us! I got 2 deals rejected. Mine were for the first 10,000 and the other one for 7,000 (just like this one posted) the DAY they both went live. And when I tried to contribute to Buxr by explaning the issue with deals like this one to new members,lexx575, I get comments like: "Ok your deals were probably low value but for a item that costs up to $10 and now it being free is high value. I think it was a bad suggestion." Priceless...
It is dissappointing to see that the Buxr admins can't see eye to eye on deals like this one and the community members don't even have a say in 99% of Right at Home deals or any other like deals
I agree here that I think admin should make the final say on whether or not these belong in the discussion forum or as a deal. It's not fair to the posters that get rejects. Either everyone should get a reject or everyone should be able to get votes.
In over a year I have applied for all these packs, and never received one. I think they go as soon as they are posted. It's usually 10,000, now they dropped it to 7,000. Not a good outlook
I've been doing these for 2 years. Last week I got a glade pack in mail. Nice surprise. But, I always do these from my e-mail (Way before they're posted on Buxr) My suggestion would be to sign up with them and you can get them quicker that way.
There is perfect clarity here that seems to be going noticed.
Here are some of the basic criteria that I look at with freebie offers in general, although more specifically with Right at Home offers.
1. Can you get the offer now?
- (Yes or No: If the answer is "no" then your dead in the water. Coming available again later is not good enough.)
2. How old is the offer?
- 1 Day... Its a fresh deal, and most likely good to go.
- 2-3 days old... Its getting sketchy, but close enough.
- 4-6 Days old... Your seriously pushing your luck. (It could go either way.)
- 7+... It probably ain't going to happen.
3. How many are being given away? (Assuming this knowledge is available.)
- 0-1000 Is a drop in the bucket in one days time.
- 7000+ Is a substantial amount to be given away.
However, just because you pass one criteria does not mean you will not be rejected for another.
Each of these must be handled on a case by case basis, there is simply no better way to go about it.
A reasonable decision taking into account all the factors has been made on this offer.
At this point, members have 3 choices to debate.
- If you think its of marginal value... pass it over.
- If you think its a lousy offer.... then vote it down.
- If you think its a good deal and valuable... then vote it up.
At his point, this thread is moving off topic from the actual deal. If you wish to have a discussion not in regards to the product depicted in this post, or its value as an offer, please go use the Discussion Forums... That is what they are there for.
