    Because there is $10 off (mail in rebate )at new egg.I resubmitted it.If there is no votes then u can deactivate a deal .

    If I'm understanding you correctly... It sounds like you posted a raw deal, and then after realizing it, and before people could vote it down, you deactivated it to save yourself from the possible penalty of a worst deal of the day.

    I have to remember that one, although I surprised the mods allow it.

    This is legit if you are quick enough to realize your mistake. Wink

    In fact we are speculating about adding a control(button) so the owner of the deal can deactivate it for the contest within an hour (and if no votes have been casted yet)

    I like that idea, because just like bestdeal, occasionally I've posted something and then 5-10min later run across one that was a few bucks less but did not turn up with a price comparison elsewhere.
