Description

T-Mobile just announced a new home phone service that lets customers make unlimited nationwide calls from their home phone for $10/month. Call waiting, caller ID, three-way conferencing, voicemail, call forwarding and other features are included.

When it launches on July 2, T-Mobile @Home will let customers to keep their home phone number, but ditch their phone bill and save money by adding their home phone line to their T-Mobile service. Basically, all the advantages of the home phone, but a $10 cell bill add-on instead of another bill.

The average bill for landline service is $65 per month, so this service would save customers more than $50 a month or more than $600 a year.

This has been around for a while. I heard about it at the beginning of Spring. Besides, T-Mobile is not for everybody, as it does not reach everyone.

I am waiting for their hybrid cell/WiFi service to come to Mid West. I think they are currently testing them in Seattle. I would love to have just one phone that I could use home and elsewhere
