I would love to upgrade to Windows 7. If I do so from Windows Vista, will I keep all my files? I heard that XP to W7 upgrade is very painful Sad

The move is easy. In XP it creates a windows.old folder for you so you can easily retrieve your files. Depending on the version of Vista you have, you can use this chart to determine your best plan/path:

Vist to Win7 allows you to keep ALL files as long as you choose the upgrade method when you pop-in the CD. I did it that way ^^
