Unfortunately you cannot use a comment to bypass a site restriction, and coupons.com cannot be linked to directly since its a blacklisted site. You need to utilize a middle man link/site to get to that exact coupon.

This post has been restricted to fit those guidelines and the direct link in comments to coupons.com has been removed. Also, 99% of the time you can still link to the rebate using the staples site, even if its an in-store only offer, as they usually have a copy posted there. I will attempt to locate that for you and restructure the post to fit into established rebate post formating.

We still would prefer you link to the item online for general viewing, instead of the site landing page, and just be sure to indicate that its in-store only. Please take a look at the formatting changes for future reference.

I have made some description edits which I feel are useful to the people viewing the deal. They are both generic in nature and I think should be mentioned. Please do not remove them.

I was not aware that we cannot post that site in comments. Thanks for the heads up. I apologize for that.

There is certainly a confusion around here. Smile

It is OK to link to coupons.com in the comments. The reason it is blacklisted for deal submission is because it is not possible to deep link to individual coupons (usability issue) and their coupons tend to expire at random (they don't have a set expiration date).

It is OK to mention in the deal description that additional savings are available via coupons linked in the comments. Do not however update the deal price to account for these savings. I don't want to have to check that deal every deal and update the price (or expire it). Such verification would take a lot of time considering you cannot link to individual coupons

Just saw the coupons.com coupon expired yesterday 3/25. Does STAPLES accept expired coupons if I use it today?

The coupon still appears to print fine. The expiration is set depending on the date of printing. Typically it is one month from that date. Print it and look again, and you will most likely find that you have a valid coupon.
